If the vehicle is not drivable before the repair process, hidden damage may only be visible after “tear down” or disassembly of exterior parts. Additional repairs or “supplemental estimates” are approved only after “tear down.” If not an insurance claim, the customer will always be notified for approval before any additional expense. Note: Supplemental estimates are the shop's responsibility to obtain from the insurance company.
